Intensive Outpatient Program
Intensive Outpatient (IOP) is an ideal alternative for someone who requires more support than basic outpatient care but doesn’t require full inpatient hospitalization. This option provides a safe and nurturing environment for individuals to receive the care they need while still enabling them to maintain some independence and flexibility to attend to other responsibilities. Empower Recovery offers both Substance Abuse IOP and Mental Health IOP.
Empower Recovery Center, led by a compassionate team of mental health professionals, provides a supportive and nurturing environment for individuals struggling with mental health or substance abuse. Our multi-disciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and psychologists among other experts, tailors a range of individualized therapies to teach the essential skills needed to manage their conditions effectively. From one-on-one counseling to group therapy sessions, we empower individuals to take control of their lives and regain their confidence.

What is Intensive Outpatient Treatment?
Intensive outpatient programs (IOPs) are an effective form of mental health treatment that can help combat substance abuse, PTSD, depression, and anxiety. These programs usually encompass individual counseling and group therapy, taking place three to five times per week for multiple hours. The foremost aim of IOPs is to impart valuable skills and resources that can instill better mental health and higher productivity in patients’ lives. IOP offers the same supervision and structure as PHP but allows the individual an opportunity to start utilizing the life skills they have learned in a real-world environment.
IOP Substance Abuse
(Monday – Friday 9am to 12pm)
Intensive outpatient treatment balances intense addiction treatment with the client’s need to participate in and meaningfully engage with the rest of their world. IOP offers the same supervision and structure as PHP but allows the individual an opportunity to start utilizing the life skills they have learned in a real-world environment.
Evening IOP Substance Abuse
(3 days a week 6pm to 9pm)
Our nighttime IOP program is available to those individuals with jobs or careers during the day. Individuals still receive a highly structured and accountable environment that offers the same number of modalities as our day program.
Mental Health IOP
(Mon – Friday 9AM to 12PM)
Our mental health IOP program focuses more on the mental wellness of each individual while still offering the structure and accountability of our other programs. Individuals can allow themselves to be more vulnerable in group thanks to a more intimate setting offered by this program. Individuals can expect to work on past trauma, PTSD, depression, and anxiety
in both a group and 1 on 1 setting that allows individuals to get to the core of their underlying mental health concerns.
